I knew once #SCOTUS officially overturned #RoevWade there would be a #DominoEffect that would directly affect individuals I would or would not know. Thus the title of this latest blog is a child having a baby?! When I first heard of the story of a child having an abortion, I was heartbroken. What made matters worse was the child's state of Ohio enacted the six-week abortion law literally hours after the ruling. Ohio #GuardiansofPutin #GIP #GQP #GQP controlled Legislation is looking into additional charges of charging individuals who leave the state for an abortion or persons who aid individuals leaving the state to getting an abortion in their next session.
The child in question was six weeks and three days pregnant instead the child had to get assistance from an Indiana doctor who performed the procedure and disclosed this information to the Indiana Department and the Department of Child Services which was confirmed by multiple news outlets local and national. The President signed an Executive Order which protects Access to Reproductive Health Care Services in which he made a public statement about this unfortunate event and how this impacts real people in the process. (Side Note: Executive Orders are limited this is why Congress (Legislative Branch) makes laws that protect us.)
This brings us to the current events that followed a sitting Congress member #GuardiansofPutin #GQP #GIP Jim Jordan of Ohio 4th District used the social media platform #Twitter to QT (Another lie. Anyone surprised?) This tweet was later deleted so CNN reporter Manu Raju asked Jordan if he would apologize instead he pivoted and blamed the President, the Media, and Immigration due for the accused current illegal status during the time of his arrest. At the release of this blog, there is still no formal or informal apology to the child and family involved. Should we be surprised this is the same Jim Jordan that allegedly turned a blind eye during his time at Ohio State where students were violated by Dr. Richard Strauss, a wrestling coach who subsequently died in 2005. In addition, Jim Jordan was one of the 140+ Congress members who wanted to overturn the will of the people on January 6, 2021, (which was also the day that the Capitol Building was attacked by #DomesticTerrorists) who voted in the 2020 Election in which 81 million+ Americans voted for the #BidenHarris ticket.
Additional persons including the Ohio AG David Yost's office claimed the "office has not found any evidence of a 10-year old rape victim in the state, ... a report cited by President Joe Biden." Indiana AG Todd Rokita went on FOX News to spread #MisInformation #DisInformation about the Doctor who performed the procedure and even questioned the physician's license this prompted Doctor Caitlin Bernard's attorney to send a cease and desist letter citing in part
"Your false and defamatory statements to Fox News ... cast Dr. Benard in a false light and allege misconduct in her profession. Even after the public (records confirmed ) that Dr. Benard fully complied with all ... laws, your subsequent statements to local and national news sources on July 14, 2022, further cast Dr. Bernard in a false light and mislead consumers and patients." We live in a society that already denies victims when allegations of assault/abuse come forward, but to have men in office who were voted for by the people to deny a child. I think this should make everyone pause regardless of party affiliation, gender, age, race identity, religious group, socioeconomic background, etc.
After reading the articles by DailyKos and Jezebel, I knew I had to use the social media platforms available to me to tell this story. I did my due diligence found my sources and uploaded the video (YouTube YT) on July 3, 2022, and then uploaded it on my other platforms in the coming days. Then Jim Bopp (National Right to Life) an attorney who authored the legislation into the #SCOTUS overturning #RoevWade gave an interview to Politico and stated in part the 10-year-old child, "... would have had the baby, and as many women who have had babies as a result of (R@&%) ... ultimately the benefit of having the child." Yet another #GuardianofPutin #GQP #GIP wanting to push their morale off onto a child. America when will we wake up we cannot complain after November 8, 2022. Our future depends on it.
