Clarence Thomas released his sentiments about the recent leak draft of the overturning of Roe v. Wade citing "... government institutions shouldn't be bullied." At his hearing in 1991, Thomas stated in part "... I believe the Consitution protects the right to privacy. And I have no reason or agenda to prejudge the issue." Did Thomas lie in order to get a sit on the highest court of the land? Let us not forget that earlier this year Thomas was the sole #SCOTUS Justice member that voted to keep 45 the 2x IMPEACHED 1 TERM former POTUS citing executive privilege documents should NOT be overturned to the January 6 Committee. If his spouse Virginia Thomas was innocent why did she aid 80+ buses to the Capitol building, why was she emailing Governor DeSantis of Florida using her husband's influence by stating ".... saw him at the state dinner in the Trump WH and my husband has been in contact with him on various things of late." In addition to texting former White House Chief Staff Mark Meadows on ways to overturn the 2020 Election in which 155 million individuals voted in person, absent, and mail-in voting options.
Virginia Thomas apologizes to her spouse's employees citing, "... Let's pledge not to let politics divide this family and learn to speak more gently and knowingly across the divide." After the January 6 Domestic Terrorists attack which cost lives along the way during and after attacks. Let's not forget the SCOTUS hearing was where the world saw Anita Hill testify to the Senate regarding her experience with Thomas alleging sexual misconduct. Still, Thomas was confirmed by the Senate 52-48. Years later Virginia decided to call Antia Hill leaving a scathing voice mail in part, "...I would love you to consider an apology sometime and some full explanation of why you did what you did with my husband. ... OK, have a good day." Clarence Thomas may be the longest term SCOTUS but his record has not been in the interest of upholding his judicial duty to interpret the laws under the United States Constitution.
According to a recent Quinnipiac poll, an estimated 52% and 53% of Politico/Morning Consult Americans think Clarence Thomas should remove himself from cases related to the 2020 Elections citing conflict of interest and close proximity to his wife Virginia Thomas's actions before, during, and after the January 6 Domestic Terrorists attacks.
Mike Pence was at a recent gala a few days ago where he used his time to attack Madam Vice President Kamala Harris by stating "... I say with the lives of 62 million unborn boys and girls ended in abortion since 1973, generations of mothers enduring heartbreaking and loss that can last a lifetime: how dare you?"
Wait Mike Pence before we go any further do you identify yourself as a woman? Are you physically able to carry life into this world? According to the CDC states with a low maternal mortality rate, Black Women are 3x most likely to die during childbirth. A study was done by the National Center for Health Statistics, National Vital Statistics Systems Mortality found that between 2018-2020 the maternal mortality rate increased from 17.4% to 23.8% once again Black Women were among the highest fatalities in demographic, as all three demographics studied also increased. Additional information Black Children are 3x more likely to die when their doctor was white. Let's not even get into maternal leave as Women can not afford to miss work when because if they do take time off, by the time they return they will lose income. As Native Americans are two times (2x) likely to die from maternal mortality. What about the mothers who have these children and may not make it?
While Madam Vice President alongside President Biden and Rep. Lauren Underwood and other Congress members have gotten the first Momnibus Bill signed into law under the provision of the Protecting the Moms Who Served Act the Momnibus Act's other provisions include diversifying the paternal health workforce. In addition to VP Kamla Harris's initiative Call to Action works with universities and corporations alike to contribute their time and finances alike. Since then Madam VP Harris has ensured other programs have been implemented from Maternal Infant Childhood Visiting, State Maternal Health Innovation and Implementation, Investing in Doulas, and Birthing-Friendly Hospital Designation to name a few.
Let's also not forget Mike Pence when you were governor of Indiana there was a high increase in HIV increased via injecting drugs, individuals were unaware of their status due to you (Pence) cutting or closing Planned Parenthood facilities. When asked by reporters what he plans to do to respond to this epidemic response Pence's response was "... go home and pray on it." I thought the bible stated, "... Thus also faith by itself if it does not have works, is dead." (James 2:17). Lastly when tasked with Covid 19 while his administration may not have been responsible for the current pandemic let's be honest the failure to act in time cost an estimated 500,000+ lives.
As the world is facing additional variants of Covid-19 and we will, unfortunately, lose 1 million lives to the Covid 19 virus. The Biden Harris Administration has ensured we have three vaccines available in addition to free testing, that you can receive now at home.
Arizona GOP Senate Candidate (Federal level) wants to ban condoms in all states. Citing the SCOTUS's ruling Griswold v. Connecticut (1965) which protects individuals to purchase and use contraceptives without government interference was a mistake. His name is Blake Masters so Arizona the ball is in your court. Can you imagine the USA without condoms and other contraceptives protecting individuals?
In another Senate seat up for 2022, Florida's Senator Rubio wants to introduce a bill that makes it illegal for women to travel outside of the state for an abortion. People of Florida you know that Val Demings will protect your rights, Rubio has denied Voting Rights, Infrastructure Bill, Build Back Better Act, and other critical acts needed to push the country forward.
Update: Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed a bill adding criminal penalties as a Class E Felony punishable fine up to $50,000. In 2019, the Tennesse already passed legislation that would automatically ban abortion once Roe v. Wade (1973) is overturned. Which leads back to White Women who voted for Governor Lee by 65% in 2018.
This Election Season is clear the Democratic Party understands the Assignment and SHOWS UP for the AMERICAN PEOPLE. Unemployment is down from 20 million to 1 million the lowest since 1970! The unemployment rate is down by 3.6%, with 8.3 million JOBS ADDED. Infrastructure Bill passed as our Transportation, Roads, and Bridges, Environment will be improved. $17 BILLION+ erased in Student Loans, American Rescue Plan, America COMPETES Act, Postal Service Reform Act. This is just a small highlight of what the Biden-Harris Administration and DEMOCRATS HAVE ACCOMPLISHED.
